    Data collection and analysis<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Efforts must be made to obtain original documents rather than second hand reports which may not be correct. Additionally collect data from relevant stakeholders on their perceptions and experiences of the service\/program in question through surveys, focus group discussions, community meetings, etc.<\/p>\n

    The process of gathering information can also serve to inform, mobilize towards actions for change of key stakeholders and community members on issues of interest to the audit.<\/p>\n

    Public disclosure of data and evidence-based dialogue<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Development of a communication strategy for the dissemination of findings and outcomes. The use of the media, public announcements of meetings, sharing of proposed policy changes\/solutions is significant.<\/p>\n

    Most important in this component are public dialogue meetings to enable community members to speak directly with authorities or service providers and to plan and implement changes necessary to improve the service or program being audited.<\/p>\n
